Jason completed his higher education at the University of Manchester: an MChem for his undergraduate degree with a year at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; an MPhil research master’s in Chemistry and a PhD in Materials Science (as part of the BP-ICAM), focussing on development of boron nitride epoxy nanocomposites for anticorrosion properties.
He then worked as a postdoc on graphene epoxy composite paints in collaboration with Petronas and as a Materials Chemist at a start-up, AEH Innovative Hydrogel Ltd.
At the Innovation Factory, Jason is responsible for determining and optimising commercially viable projects in Science and Engineering.
