Jo Kelley

Jo is a Life Sciences Business Development professional with an outstanding track record of strategy development, deal preparation and execution to the Board.
Jo gained extensive experience of global commercial and general management at pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. In the role of Vice President of Business Development, Head of Transactions, Jo was responsible for a number of transformational deals. She has led a range of transactions including M&A, technology licensing and collaboration arrangements. Jo has received a number of awards recognising her deal making achievements from colleagues and peers including recognition from The Pharmaceutical Licensing Group.
As well as her position at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, she is a Director of Alderley Park Ventures, a non-executive Director for BDD Pharma and supports UK life science business development in a consultancy capacity.
