Simon Thorpe
Non-Executive Director
Simon is a Non-Executive Director at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory. He is qualified Chartered Accountant with years of experience in equity research, sales and capital markets with major institutional investors and corporates across all sectors.
As well as a Managing Partner at tech consultancy firm Delta2020, Simon is a Director of Rockspring Nominees, a Non-Executive Director to Eagle Genomics, Inngot, and UB.io. Simon is also a member and current Chair of Cambridge Angels, in addition to being a member of Cambridge Capital Group (CCG) and Angel Academe. He is also an angel investor at Manchester Tech Trust, an independent charity who promote technology enterprise across Greater Manchester.
Simon is a participating mentor for the University of Manchester's Gold Mentoring program, and was voted UKBAA’s Angel Investor of the Year 2016/2017 and is a Fellow of Entrepreneurship at the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS).
