Travis Ralph-Donaldson is an Innovation Discovery Manager in Software and AI at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory. He is a serial tech entrepreneur and has founded several bootstrapped and venture backed startups across AI, gaming, and EdTech. His most recent project “Speacher” is a gamified AI pronunciation training app for French and Spanish which is currently being piloted in UK primary and secondary schools.

Travis worked previously as a software engineer for Jaguar Land Rover on their remote control car project, has lectured in video game programming (Unity, Unreal, and PS5 dev) and has won several global pitching (Dragon’s Den style) competitions resulting in seed investment offers of over £500k.

Travis can help with commercialisation strategy, investment readiness, pitching, and has strong technical expertise in cross-platform app development, multi-modal speech recognition, and on-device AI inference.
